Durood at Home

Hazrat Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه reports that Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Do not make your homes into graveyards, and do not make my grave a place of festivity, and recite durood upon me, for certainly your durood reaches me (via the angels) from wherever you may be.

(The Gift of Durood and Salaam pg.68)

Reflections:

A Muslim home should always be filled with the remembrance of Allah Ta’ala جل جلاله. It should not be like a graveyard which is void of good actions such as the recitation of the Qur’an Kareem, nafl salaah and durood shareef upon Hazrat Rasulullah

May Allah Ta’ala make our houses reverberate with Tilaawat, Salaah and Durood Shareef. Ameen.

“O Sustainer, shower Salaat and Salaam forever and ever upon Your beloved, who is the best of all creation.”

May Allah Ta’ala جل جلاله reward our Nabi Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم on our behalf such a reward that is due to Him.
