قال صالح سمعتُ القاسم بن محمد رحمه الله يقول وكان يستحب للرجل إذا فرغ من تلبيته أن يصلي على النبيِّ ﷺ (أخرجه الطبراني رقم 3721)
It is narrated from Qaasim bin Muhammad رحمه الله, that it is Mustahab for a person to recite Durood Shareef after talbiyah.
A Few Mustahab Occasions for Durood
Allamah Shaami رحمه الله has mentioned a few mustahab occasions for Durood:
- When entering the Masjid
- When leaving the Masjid
- When visiting the blessed grave of Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم
- When walking on Mount Safa and Marwah during Hajj
- During the Friday khutbah as well as the other khutbahs
- When replying to the Azaan
- At the time of Iqaamah
- At the beginning of a Dua
- During the Dua
- At the end of a Dua
- After Dua-e-Qunoot
- After reciting the talbiyah
- When joining a gathering
- When dispersing from a gathering
- When making Wudhu

يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ دَائِمَاً أَبَدًا عَلَىْ حَبِيْبِكَ خَيْرِ الْخَلْقِ كُلِّهِمِ
“O Sustainer, shower Salaat and Salaam forever and ever upon Your beloved, who is the best of all creation.”
جَزَی اللہُ عَنَّا نَبِيَّنَا مُحَمَّدًا صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْه وسَلَّمَ بِمَا هُوَ أَھْلُهُ
May Allah Ta’ala جل جلاله reward our Nabi Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم on our behalf such a reward that is due to Him.
