Exert Yourselves in Durood

Holiday Guidelines

  1. Make intention of remaining in Allah Ta’ala’s obedience and pleasure.
  2. Uphold the Sunnah of Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم.
  3. Make the atmosphere revebrate as a family with Quran Tilawat, Zikr, Durood Shareef and Istighfaar.
  4. The Baaligh males should be punctual on salah with Jamaat in the masjid.
  5. The womenfolk should perform Salaah as soon as the time sets in.
  6. Make collective Taleem daily.
  7. Learn Surahs and Duas for different occasions and compete to practice upon them.
  8. Learn about the detailed Seerah of Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم and the lives of the Sahabah رضي الله عنهم.
  9. Discuss Islamic History from authentic Islamic Literature.
  10. Attend programmes and classes of our reliable Ulama and Mashaikh for adults and the youth.
  11. Try and spend time in the path of Allah Ta’ala with the correct fikr.
  12. Perform tahajjud extra Nawafil.
  13. Engage in sunnah sports i.e. archery, horse riding, swimming. One may engage in these sports without compromising any law of shariah and his Haya.
  14. Spend time in permissible recreational and educational activities example running, mathematics, carpentry, basic plumbing, painting, cooking, learning words of Arabic, Urdu and one’s home language etc.
  15. Visit family and relatives with the intention of attaining the reward of joining family ties.
  16. Go for Umrah adhering to the ettiquettes of the Haramain Shareefain.
  17. Volunteer for community service.
  18. Invite the pious, friends and family for a meal whilst upholding the laws of purdah.
  19. Prevent gadget and technology abuse.
  20. Provide comfort and care for the elderly and sick family members.
  21. Make a continuous effort to abstain from all sins.

Our entire holiday must be governed by the pleasure of Allah Ta’ala, Sharia, Islam, Sunnah, Ibadat, Good Character, helping one another and well wishing.

May Allah Ta’ala enable us to spend our holidays earning the pleasure of Allah Ta’ala and his Rasul صلى الله عليه وسلم.

An Earnest Plea

In the holidays we must not forget Allah Ta’ala and Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم. A Muslim loves Allah Ta’ala and Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم. He will, under no circumstance, forget his Allah Ta’ala and Rasul صلى الله عليه وسلم. Hence, we should not forget to read Quran, make Zikr and recite abundant Durood Shareef upon Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم.

يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ دَائِمَاً أَبَدًا عَلَىْ حَبِيْبِكَ خَيْرِ الْخَلْقِ كُلِّهِمِ

“O Sustainer, shower Salaat and Salaam forever and ever upon Your beloved, who is the best of all creation.”

 جَزَی اللهُ عَنَّا نَبِيَّنَا مُحَمَّدًا صَلَّی اللهُ عَلَیْه وسَلَّمَ بِمَا هُوَ أَھْلُهُ

May Allah Ta’ala جل جلاله reward our Nabi Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم on our behalf such a reward that is due to Him.
