Moulana Abdur Rasheed Arshad رحمه الله, a disciple of Moulana Abdul Qadir Raipuri رحمه الله writes, I have read some of the unpublished statements of my Shaikh. It is written in four or five places,
“Whenever any person intends commencing any Deeni work then (besides reading Salaatul Istikhaara) he should continue reciting Durood Shareef excessively for the entire duration of being engaged in that work. Through the blessings of this (excessive Durood Shareef), Allah Ta’ala جل جلاله will guide his heart to the method and the field in which Allah Ta’ala جل جلاله wants to take work from him.”

يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ دَائِمَاً أَبَدًا عَلَى حَبِيْبِكَ خَيْرِ الْخَلْقِ كُلِّهِمِ
“O Sustainer, shower Salaat and Salaam forever and ever upon Your beloved, who is the best of all creation.”
جَزَی اللهُ عَنَّا نَبِيَّنَا مُحَمَّدًا صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْه وسَلَّمَ بِمَا هُوَ أَھْلُهُ
May Allah Ta’ala جل جلاله reward our Nabi Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم on our behalf such a reward that is due to Him.
