Hazrat Jaabir رضي الله عنه reports that Hazrat Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “Whoever recites Durood upon me one hundred times daily, Allah Ta’ala جل جلاله will fulfil one hundred of his needs, seventy of the Hereafter and thirty of this world.
(The Gift of Durood and Salaam pg.52)
Reflections
In the light of the numerous difficulties experienced by the Ummah, especially in Gazza and Sudan, we have to realise the desperate need for reciting Durood Shareef consistently. Sending Salawaat upon Sayyiduna Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم is a vital ibaadat in our lives to secure the assistance of Allah Ta‘ala جل جلاله.
“O Sustainer, shower Salaat and Salaam forever and ever upon Your beloved, who is the best of all creation.”
May Allah Ta’ala جل جلاله reward our Nabi Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم on our behalf such a reward that is due to Him.
