The following story is related in “Nuzhah”:
There was once a pious person who had fallen seriously ill due to the inability to pass urine. One night, he had a dream in which he was complaining to Shaikh Shahaabuddeen bin Raslaan رحمه الله (who was a very famous saint and scholar) about the difficulty he was going through. In the dream, the Shaikh told him, “How is it that you are ignorant of the cure for all diseases? Commence reciting Durood upon Rasulullah صلى الله عليه و سلم and Allah تبارك و تعالى will bless you with shifaa.” The Shaikh then told him to recite the following Durood:
للَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ وَبَارِكْ عَلَى رُوْحِ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ فِي الْأَرْوَاحِ ، وَصَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلٰى قَلْبِ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ فِي القُلُوبِ وَصَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ على جَسَدِ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ فِي الْأَجْسَادِ وَصَلِّ وَسَلَّمْ عَلَى قَبْرِ سَيَّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ فِى الْقُبُوْر
O Allah تبارك و تعالى, from all souls (You have created), bestow Your special mercy, peace and blessings on the mubaarak soul of Sayyiduna Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم, and from all the hearts (You have created), bestow Your special mercy and peace on the heart of Sayyiduna Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم, and from all the bodies (You have created), bestow Your special mercy and peace upon the body of Sayyiduna Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم, and from all the graves (of the creation), bestow Your special mercy and peace upon the grave of Sayyiduna Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم.
Upon awakening, the man commenced reciting this Durood, and through reciting it abundantly, his illness had soon disappeared.

يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ دَائِمَاً أَبَدًا عَلَى حَبِيْبِكَ خَيْرِ الْخَلْقِ كُلِّهِمِ
“O Sustainer, shower Salaat and Salaam forever and ever upon Your beloved, who is the best of all creation.”
جَزَی اللہُ عَنَّا نَبِيَّنَا مُحَمَّدًا صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْه وسَلَّمَ بِمَا هُوَ أَھْلُهُ
“May Allah Ta’ala جل جلاله reward our Nabi Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم on our behalf such a reward that is due to Him.”
